With me no longer having $5/year with textnow, I am planning on switching services for T&T (talk and text). If anyone has tried them all, can you share your experiences? Hello mobile is 5/month, US Mobile is 8/month, and tello is roughly 10 or 11 per month including taxes
What happened with your TextNow?
Basically they had issues processing PayPal, and this was when I wanted temporary data (like a day pass). So they told me "the only way to put in my credit card again (because it was having trouble in the system), was to move over the account information to a new account. They also said this would be a one-time courtesy which I found a little bit insulting because their system didn't work, but it's fine.
The cost of doing that though was that I would give up that $5 per year plan to fix it since they would not grandfather it
So what I learned is never to use PayPal with TextNow because if your PayPal ever gets screwed up, you can't fix it on that same account.
